For the best Hades Nachos, assemble them just before serving so the tortilla chips stay crisp beneath all of the toppings. Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut for the Buffalo chicken, and you can easily adjust the heat by adding more or less Buffalo sauce and jalapeños. Warm the nacho cheese separately before pouring it over the chips, and add the lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream last so the cool toppings stay fresh. If you cannot find black bean tortilla chips, blue corn tortilla chips are a good substitute and still give the nachos that dark, dramatic Hades-inspired look.

Add the shredded chicken to a medium saucepan or skillet. Stir together the Buffalo sauce, melted butter, and garlic powder, then pour it over the chicken.

Cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is hot and completely coated in the sauce.

Spread the black bean tortilla chips over a large serving platter or 4 shallow bowls.
