Tony’s Town Square Restaurant Shrimp Scampi Recipe
When visitors pass through the turnstiles of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, they’re often on a quest for enchantment—a day filled with favorite attractions, beloved characters, and, of course, exceptional food. Nestled in the heart of Main Street, U.S.A., Tony’s Town Square Restaurant brings the magic of Disney to life with cuisine inspired by classic Italian favorites. One dish that often captivates guests is Tony’s Shrimp Scampi—a meal fit for royalty. Now you can create it in your own kitchen with this Tony's Town Square Restaurant Shrimp Scampi recipe.
Cooking Tips
While linguine is a classic choice for shrimp scampi, feel free to use angel hair for a delicate texture, or spaghetti for a slightly heartier experience. If shrimp isn’t your preference, this recipe also works well with scallops or a medley of seafood. If you’d rather not cook with wine, you can replace it with chicken stock or a blend of chicken stock and lemon juice to maintain the dish’s bright flavor. This shrimp scampi pairs well with a fresh green salad or warm garlic bread. For a true Tony’s Town Square feel, serve with a side of roasted vegetables and follow up with a classic Italian dessert like tiramisu.

Description
The Tony's Town Square Restaurant Shrimp Scampi is a fan favorite and the perfect comfort food.
Ingredients
1lb jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1/2cup dry white wine
3tbsp butter
2tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
lemon zest (1/2 lemon)
1/4tsp salt
1/4tsp pepper
1tbsp parsley
1/3cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta of your choice, cooking until al dente according to package instructions.
Reserve about half a cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
Prepare one pound of jumbo shrimp by washing and drying them on paper towels. This will help them to not get mushy.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. Once the butter is melted and begins to bubble, stir in 4 cloves of minced garlic. Let it cook for about 30 seconds.
Add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes on one side, until they turn pink. Flip them and cook for another 2–3 minutes. Once the shrimp is opaque and cooked through, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, pour in 1/2 cup dry white wine. Let the wine simmer and reduce for about 2 minutes, until slightly thickened. Stir in 1 tablespoon of butter, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and lemon zest from half a lemon. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Add the pasta water and some parmesan cheese which is optional.
Add the drained pasta to the pot and pour in the shrimp and sauce. Then add in 1 tablespoon of parsley. Mix until everything is well incorporated and the sauce is distributed throughout.
Serve hot with your choice of vegetables and garlic bread ♨ and enjoy!
