Description
Japanese Chicken Teriyaki is a delicious and satisfying healthy dish that is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Make your own teriyaki sauce for your chicken to create a dish that is packed with protein and flavor.
Ingredients
1.5lb chicken thighs
1tbsp vegetable oil
Teriyaki Sauce
1/4cup honey
1/4cup low-sodium soy sauce
2tbsp apple cider vinegar
4 garlic cloves
1tbsp cornstarch
1/2tsp ginger powder
Instructions
Rinse the chicken and pat dry. Cut into small chunks.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink.
Combine the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, cornstarch, and ginger powder and whisk until well combined.
Add the teriyaki sauce to the chicken and reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir frequently until the sauce thickens, approximately 3-5 minutes.
Serve hot with rice ♨ and enjoy!
