The label says that it may contain milk products but that is only due to cross-contamination with other products. Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits are not made with dairy so they are "accidentally vegan". Please use caution based on your preferences.

Description

Vegan Cheeseburger Pods are a delicious and satisfying dish that is perfect for a quick dinner or a satisfying snack. Made with Morningstar Farms Crumbles, Violife cheese, and canned biscuits, this plant-based dish is packed with flavor.

Ingredients
  • 12 oz Morningstar Farms veggie grillers crumbles
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 4 tbsp dill pickle relish
  • 1 cup Violife shredded cheddar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 can refrigerated biscuits
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Prepare Morningstar Farms veggie griller crumbles using the package instructions. Season with garlic powder and salt and pepper, to taste. Reduce heat to medium.

  2. Add in mustard, ketchup, and relish. Stir to combine. Let it come to a simmer for a minute or two.

  3. Turn off the heat and stir in Violife shredded cheddar cheese.

  4. Roll out biscuits until they are the size of your hand.

  5. Add 2 tbsp filling and fold the dough in pleats and pinch the top.

  6. Place each bun on squares of parchment paper and place in a steamer. Steam for 10 - 15 minutes.

  7. Serve hot ♨ and enjoy!
