Step into the whimsical world of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, where culinary magic blends with enchanting entertainment. Among the delightful array of culinary creations, one dish stands out as a beloved favorite: the Chili Cone Queso. Inspired by the lovable characters from the hit animated film “Cars,” this cheesy and savory treat has become an iconic snack for visitors of all ages. We’ll guide you through the Disney Cars Land Chili Cone Queso recipe to recreate the magic of this iconic Disney snack in the comfort of your own kitchen.
The tricky part of this recipe is making the cone shape. I used printer paper to make a sturdy cone and then I covered it with aluminum foil, making sure all of the paper was covered. Then, I sprayed it with cooking spray to ensure that the bread dough did not stick after they were baked. I would also suggest that you only work with chilled dough. When it gets warm, it is more difficult to handle. It worked out well for me but in hindsight, I would use bread dough vs. crescent dough to provide better structural integrity. The crescent dough does make for a delicious cone though!
The ingredients for this recipe include:
- 2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls
- Leftover Walt’s Chili
- Fritos
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
