The Bayou Lavender Lemonade recipe from Golden Oak Outpost is such a refreshing Magic Kingdom drink, especially on a hot Florida day. With its sweet lemonade base and soft floral lavender flavor, this copycat recipe is simple, pretty, and perfect for bringing a little bit of Disney Parks magic home. It has that fun New Orleans-inspired twist that makes it feel a little more special than regular lemonade, while still being easy enough to make with just a few ingredients.
Cooking Tips
For the most authentic theme park version, start with bottled Minute Maid Premium Lemonade instead of homemade lemonade. It gives the drink that sweet, familiar quick-service flavor. If you prefer a less sweet lemonade, use fresh lemonade and add the lavender syrup slowly so the floral flavor does not overpower the drink. I use DaVinci Gourmet Lavender Syrup. You can also add your favorite alcoholic beverage for an adult version of this drink.
For a frozen version, blend 2 cups lemonade, ¼ cup lavender syrup, and 2 cups ice until slushy. This makes it extra refreshing for a Magic Kingdom-inspired drink at home.
