Cooking Tips

You will need a Mickey waffle iron to make this dish. I like to use the Disney Mickey Mouse MIC-62 Double Flip Waffle Maker. My waffles were not perfect, and you have to make sure not to use too much batter, or it will spill over. You may think you are not using enough batter, but practice makes perfect! You will find the right ratio after you’ve made a few. If your batter spills over, you can cut the excess off to make perfect Mickey shapes. The batter is made with Carbon’s Golden Malted Pancake & Waffle Flour Mix, which is the official waffle mix of the Disney Parks. All you have to do is follow the instructions on the package to make the waffle batter. This recipe is relatively easy, and you can save some batter if you do not want to make all the Mickey Waffles at once.
